Tell the Senate: Pass the Updated Electronic Communications Privacy Act

Last month the House unanimously passed an essential update to the outdated Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA).

Now it’s the Senate’s turn: The Judiciary Committee is set to vote on the bill this week and we need your help.

The new legislation protects our online communications from unauthorized government access. The law secures everything from email and chats to photos and contact lists.

Despite the bill’s overwhelming popularity, there are still attempts to weaken it from government agencies that want to bypass the crucial warrant protection and snoop on our electronic communications.

Urge the Senate to pass the updated version of ECPA today and stop the warrantless spying on our communications.
