To Elon Musk:

Silicon Valley prides itself on a culture of innovation, but there’s nothing innovative about condoning racism. Tesla needs to quit Trump’s business council and refuse to be part of this dangerous administration.

    Tell Elon Musk to #QuitTheCouncil

Tech companies like Tesla have gotten a lot of credit for taking a verbal stand against Trump’s despicable Muslim ban1 — but CEO Elon Musk is still collaborating with the administration by serving on Trump’s business council.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about standing up to violent rhetoric and bigoted policies that are hurting vulnerable communities.

Silicon Valley prides itself on a culture of innovation, but there’s nothing innovative about condoning racism. Elon Musk should quit Trump’s business council and refuse to be part of this dangerous administration.

This kind of pressure works: On Feb. 2, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick left Trump’s business council after calls to #DeleteUber rattled the company. And companies like Disney are feeling the heat too. Just last week protests in California, Florida and New York put CEO Bob Iger under pressure.2

Tesla shouldn’t endorse bigotry. Tell CEO Elon Musk to quit the council.
