Show Up to Save Net Neutrality

In 2015, more than 4 million people voiced their support for Net Neutrality, the basic principle that your internet service provider (ISP) treat all online information the same — regardless of whether it’s a video, photo, website, article or app.

Now the Trump administration, Republicans in Congress and the head of the Federal Communications Commission are planning to gut the Net Neutrality rules that we worked for over a decade to pass.1

Members of Congress are in their home districts this week and many are hosting town-hall meetings. This means you have the opportunity to get face to face with your senators and representative — and urge them to leave Net Neutrality alone.

Without Net Neutrality, internet service providers like AT&T, Comcast and Verizon would be able to control what websites or applications you’re able to access, and charge you more to visit specific sites.

It’s time to put Congress on notice and make sure it doesn't mess with the open internet.

Net Neutrality is what’s made the internet such a powerful tool for political organizing, education and innovation. Speaking up for the open internet at a town hall or in-district meeting is the single most effective thing you can do RIGHT NOW to protect it.
