Call Now: Urge Your Pennsylvania Lawmakers to Invest in Local News
Pennsylvania residents are experiencing what it’s like to lose local news in their communities and across the commonwealth. This crisis is especially dire for people who live in cities or towns located outside of the state’s major media markets.
In early February, a statehouse committee in Pennsylvania advanced two promising bills — HB 2047 and 2048) — that would help support local news and information.1 We now have a real chance to get this legislation to a full floor vote if we act fast. If you believe in strengthening local journalism as much as we do, please call your state representative right away.
