Time and time again, the public has watched FCC Chairman Brendan Carr violate his oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. Trump’s top censor has repeatedly weaponized his agency’s authority to intimidate broadcasters and bully other media outlets to toe the White House line – or else.
His efforts to censor and control the media undermine the First Amendment freedoms of news outlets, broadcasters and others attempting to call out government lies and speak truth to power. Chairman Carr is willing to destroy the Fourth Estate and corrupt the FCC to keep the White House happy.
The federal government should not be in the business of censoring differing opinions. Brendan Carr is unfit for duty and must answer for his corruption. Impeach him now.
