To State Attorneys General:

Thank you for suing to block the proposed merger between Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros. Discovery. We applaud that decision and we urge you to hold the line.

Concessions don’t work. They are unenforceable, frequently abandoned and do not protect all workers and consumers from the anti-competitive harms of media consolidation. That’s why we’re calling on you to take your case to trial.

Protect consumers and workers. Block the Paramount Skydance-Warner Bros. Discovery merger.

    Block the Paramount/WBD Merger

Tell State Attorneys General: No Concessions on the Paramount/WBD Merger

Thank you for attending our Block the Merger No Concessions Party! We hope you enjoyed this evening of fun and solidarity as we keep fighting for our First Amendment freedoms.

Thanks to our advocacy and organizing, 12 state attorneys general sued to block Paramount Skydance’s takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery. After a judge issued a temporary restraining order to halt the merger, the billionaire owners of Paramount retreated and agreed they wouldn’t close the deal before the trial … which is why Larry and David Ellison are using a range of pressure tactics to push the AGs to settle out of court as soon as possible.

This mega-merger would cut jobs, sabotage free expression and give Trump-friendly billionaires even more control over news and entertainment content: Tell the state attorneys general to stand firm in their defense of the First Amendment and our democracy.
