Gov. Jerry Brown

The Trump administration FCC has shirked its duty to protect American internet users from the predatory practices of internet service providers (ISPs). With SB 822, California has the opportunity to once again take the lead in fighting back against Trump administration attacks on our rights to connect and communicate.

Please sign this legislation and ensure that Californians have strong open internet protections.

This bill prevents broadband providers from interfering with the rights of all Californians to have their voices heard. It’s critical that you immediately sign this legislation and make Net Neutrality the law of the land in California.

You Can Save Net Neutrality in California

The California Assembly has passed the strongest state Net Neutrality bill we’ve seen, by wide margins1. But it’s not law until the governor approves it.

This moment in California is important to the national fight for Net Neutrality. The world’s eighth largest economy and home to tech innovation just loudly declared its support for a free and open internet, sending a strong signal to policymakers in Washington.

But for this legislation to become law, Gov. Jerry Brown needs to act.

Tell Gov. Brown to sign SB 822 and keep up the national momentum to preserve Net Neutrality.
