To FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel and her fellow commissioners:

The ability for incarcerated people to maintain regular communication with loved ones, legal counsel and clergy is a human right — one that’s been denied to too many for far too long. Thank you for lowering the cost of calls for incarcerated people and their loved ones.

To the FCC: Thanks for Advancing Prison-Phone Justice!

Thank FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel and her fellow commissioners for advancing phone justice for incarcerated people and their families

On July 18, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to lower rates and fees for the communications services that incarcerated people use to stay connected to their loved ones. This vote is the FCC’s first step in implementing the Martha Wright-Reed Just and Reasonable Communications Act, which President Biden signed into law last year.
