Tell the Senate: Protect Our Fourth Amendment Right to Privacy
Right now, law-enforcement and immigration agencies like the FBI and ICE are violating our constitutional rights by purchasing our online data — including our location and search histories — without a warrant.
How? They’re making an end-run around the Fourth Amendment — which is supposed to prohibit law-enforcement agencies from carrying out unlawful searches and seizures — by buying our sensitive information from third-party brokers that exploit our data for profit.
But Congress can take action: There is currently bipartisan support to prohibit these practices with the Fourth Amendment Is Not For Sale Act. The House passed this bill in April.1
It’s urgent Senate Leadership hears from you to get this legislation over the finish line: Add your name today.
