To Congress:

Public-media outlets in the United States are consistently rated among the most-trusted media sources in public-opinion surveys. Our nation’s public-media system produces great journalism but is one of the most poorly funded in the world.

Drastic cuts to that funding would do little for government efficiency but would have a grave impact on constituents across the country. The shifting balance of power in Washington should not jeopardize the news programming and children’s entertainment that your constituents value.

Please reject all efforts to defund public media.

Tell Congress to Preserve Funding for Public Media

Tell Congress: We Need Public Media

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have public media in their crosshairs: Their “Department of Government Efficiency” seeks to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. This is a clear authoritarian tactic designed to crack down on news coverage — like NPR’s All Things Considered and PBS NewsHour— that could hold the Trump regime accountable.

Urge Congress to protect public media.
