Urge Congress to Make High-Speed Internet Affordable
High-speed internet access is too expensive in the United States, but right now Congress has the opportunity to ensure that people can afford to get connected.
The lack of affordable home high-speed internet options over the last year — especially for school-aged children — will have harmful impacts for decades to come. And as we continue to live with the realities of the COVID-19 global-health emergency, and address the inequities that have worsened during the pandemic, it’s critical that Congress pass legislation that would help ensure that low-income, Black and Brown families not only have the wire running to their doors but that they can afford to connect to it.
Tell Congress: Pass the Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act and include other measures in the infrastructure package to make high-speed internet affordable.
