To Paramount/CBS leadership:

It’s wrong for media companies to pull content at the behest of a thin-skinned president and his FCC lackey. Time and time again, we’ve seen how capitulation to President Trump undermines free speech and harms our democracy. Stop obeying in advance. Do not sacrifice your First Amendment rights in hopes of currying favor with the federal government.

Stop censoring Stephen Colbert and start standing up for free speech in the United States.

    Tell Paramount/CBS: Let Colbert Speak

It was bad enough when Paramount-owned CBS canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert because Trump doesn’t like what the longtime host has to say … but now the network is censoring segments of his final season for fear of upsetting FCC Chairman Brendan Carr.

On Feb. 16, Colbert revealed that CBS refused to let him air his interview with Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico.1 Colbert has every right to interview a political candidate — and in fact, talk-show hosts have interviewed candidates of all political stripes for decades.

Urge Paramount/CBS to stop capitulating and start respecting the First Amendment.
