To Members of Congress:

The Ready To Learn program has consistently delivered trusted, educational and inclusive programming to millions of children, significantly enhancing their early learning and emotional development. The Trump administration’s decision to eliminate this funding jeopardizes valuable educational resources — and disproportionately harms vulnerable and underserved communities.

We call on you to swiftly restore full funding to the Ready To Learn grant to ensure that public media can continue serving America’s children.

Restore Funding for PBS KIDS and the Ready To Learn Grant

Protect PBS KIDS and Educational Programming

The Trump administration has abruptly terminated the Ready To Learn grant1 — a crucial source of funding for PBS KIDS’ educational programming. For more than 30 years, this bipartisan-supported grant has provided millions of children with commercial-free, high-quality educational shows like Molly of Denali, Reading Rainbow, Sesame Street and Work It Out Wombats.

Ending this funding puts essential educational resources at risk, disproportionately harming children in underserved communities who rely heavily on public media.

Join us in urging Congress to immediately restore funding for PBS KIDS and the Ready To Learn grant.
