    Keep Trump off Twitter, Again

    We celebrated a major victory when Twitter removed Donald Trump from the platform in 2021. For years, Trump violated Twitter’s terms of service by spreading disinformation and promoting violence — including inciting and cheering the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

    Now, with Elon Musk as the owner and CEO of Twitter, we’re in danger of losing that victory. Musk called Twitter’s decision to permanently ban the former president from the service "morally wrong and flat-out stupid." Musk has indicated that he’s planning to reinstate Trump — even though doing so would have dangerous consequences for the site’s users … and our democracy.

    Urge Musk to keep Trump off the platform at all costs.
