Economic development and employment are some of the biggest stories in Camden. Companies large and small — including Subaru, American Water and the Sixers — have made the city their home.
But is this development working for everyone in Camden — or just a select few? Many Camden residents we’ve spoken to believe that this development isn’t benefiting all community members, and it’s hard to get reliable news and information that represents their interests.
Camden could be an economic engine for the region, and that starts with community members and journalists working together to dig into emerging stories and explore the lived experiences of city residents.
